A Preview of Pied à Terre Paris

August is happy to share that we have now acquired the final part to complete the Pied-à-Terre collection - a stunning 1st-floor Parisian apartment located in the highly sought-after 3rd arrondissement. The August refurbishment will soon be underway, but take a sneak peek now at these incredible foundations:
Ascend the stairs or hop in the elevator, getting your keys ready to be welcomed home to your apartment on the 1st floor. As you open the door, you are towered by high ceilings and real wood floors throughout, highlighted by light streaming through the windows that align the corridors. You walk through to an open main living area, lined with gorgeous artwork and items that feel like home, and you can finally sit down and enjoy.
A brand new kitchen will be positioned to truly maximise the layout and liveability of the home, making entertaining, hosting friends and family, or even simply making your morning breakfast with fresh bread and cheese, a joy. Now, with an additional bedroom, you and your guests will have total privacy, so whether you’re needing an early night, or heading to bed after a movie, you can both sleep soundly.
Take a look at the floor plan and design inspiration below:
Located centrally to the right bank, and within walking distance from the 11th, 10th, 2nd, and 4th arrondissements, the 3rd is the perfect mix of easily accessible and intimate, perfect for our Homeowners to embrace Parisian life. Fly into Charles de Gaulle, and you'll be home within an hour. Once you step outside of your apartment, the Arts Et Metiers metro stop is just a 5 minute walk away, getting you all around Paris. Fancied a cultural stroll, why not walk 20 minutes to the infamous Louvre museum, or if you fancy something closer its a 13 minute walk to centre Georges Pompidou, which is full of contemporary and modern art. Don’t be surprised to find independent galleries and designer shops scattered around this neighbourhood, as it’s constantly inspired by innovation, adding to its rich culture of recognised museums and heritage sites.
Our favourite historic site in the North Marais and a must-see for visitors is Les Enfants Rouge, the oldest covered market in Paris, named for the 17th-century orphanage that used to occupy the space. Here you can dine on food from around the world, including Moroccan, Italian, Japanese, and Lebanese. It’s really such a charming spot! Also the perfect local spot for fresh flowers.
Some of our other favourite places from the 3rd:
Le Mary Celeste
A local bar serving smaller dishes packed with flavour and styled with flare, is styled with a great list of cocktails and an even more extensive list of wines. A team favourite for lunch or drinks with friends.
Merci
A great boutique hosted over three floors, with some of the most interesting fashion, jewellery, and interior items. As much as it’s a great shop with wonderful products, the layout and design of the place highlights how inspiring shopping and stores can be.
Ogata
A real treat and experience for anyone visiting Paris, Ogata is a 17th-century private mansion built with tea, cooking, crafts, hospitality, and culture at its core; offering shoppers a unique and contemporary experience. With such grandeur and elevation factored into every element, Ogata cements itself as a gateway to a new way of experiencing retail and dining, making life just that bit more interesting.
