A home steeped in history - this enchanting, stone townhouse is a place to remember for your guests.
A traditional stone property steeped in history, proudly standing in the town square adjacent to the church. As is customary in this region, the team proudly retained and preserved the property's authentic identity. In the heart of Fornalutx, a charming Spanish town with a rich medieval heritage, this home is a living testament to the town's storied history. With walls that tell tales dating back to the 12th century and an abundance of authentic features, including wooden beams and exquisite Mallorcan tiling, each of your stays here promises to be a journey through time and culture.
Fornalutx is a village steeped in history and celebrated as one of Mallorca’s most authentic places. Its signature details are cobbled streets, olive-green shutters and a gothic church by the main square of Plaza de España. The home is so close by, your breakfast can be fresh from the bakery. The beach and nearby charming town of Sòller are worth exploring too. It’s easy to fall in love with Fornalutx which has won many accolades including ‘the prettiest village in Spain’.
An antique chest of drawers from Sweden was passed down through generations of previous residents and served as the centrepiece for our design process.

Living Room
Two lounge areas offer you a variety of hosting possibilities. A bespoke formal lounge, connected to the dining room, sets the stage for pre-dinner drinks. On the second floor, a TV lounge sets the tone for laid-back evenings.
Kitchen
While upgrading the kitchen to an excellent new level, we stayed true to the home’s authenticity and keep the details which make all the difference – just like these beautiful, original, blue and white tiles and old fireplaces. The kitchen now stands as a large open-plan kitchen with a spacious island, ideal for hosting large groups of family and friends.
Dining Room
Featuring a 3-metre-long dining table made by a local artist, Adrian Nicolov and fashioned from an old church door sourced from across Spain.
Outdoor Room
The rooftop terrace, with an outdoor dining area and a private pool, is a lovely space for entertaining – awe-inspiring mountain views are a natural talking point.
Swimming Pool
A few steps up from the kitchen is this haven in a sun-soaked space, with a plunge pool, perfect for cooling off. Before our expert renovation team went to work, there was just a table here. We built a lovely lounge seating area, prioritising a lounge space as it’s so close to the kitchen. The shade and decor details here align with our splashes of Med blue and green colour theme.
The renovation of this townhouse successfully blended modern comforts with Fornalutx's architectural grandeur.
