Initially acquired in 1985 by the original owners, the home was designed by locally recognised architect Robert Maestracci. Bringing their dream home to life, Maestracci and his team of local craftsmen created charming foundations that August enhanced and developed further into a seamless home and relaxing experience for our homeowners.

The renovation:
Outdoors before:
Externally, the August team built a new outdoor dining area and used a gorgeous travertine flooring here and across all terraces including the pool. Creating coherence throughout the grounds, this new addition to the home is perfect for watching friends and family enjoy the pool, or late night dinners talking the night away.

Kitchen before:
To make full use of the internal space, the August team worked and changed the configuration of the downstairs entirely - removing the old kitchen and replacing with a snug movie room. Bringing the kitchen into the communal space makes for a much more social and cohesive space to enjoy.

Lounge before:
The Living space needed a restyle and a new perspective; considering a colour scheme and furnishings that invite you to relax and unwind were key here. Keeping a bright and open colour scheme also emphasised the kitchen and subtle details throughout.

Adding a primary suite on the ground floor with en-suite adds more flexibility to the house and living space. The patio doors from this bedroom take you onto the expansive garden with re-designed terraces and access to the pool.

A tasteful and relaxing update to the principal suite saw the addition of a dressing room / walk in wardrobe and upgrade to the en suite. The room feels larger, creating a cosy seating area and console table for our homeowners to work from, or get ready for dinner or bed in comfort.
