Welcome to a new era of European living with August. The Arcadia Collection marks the most visionary chapter yet in the Grand Pied À Terre Collection.
What sets this Collection apart is August’s first-ever artist collaboration. Acclaimed Spanish artist Coco Capitán, known for her thought-provoking fusion of text and imagery, will create an exclusive, hand-painted artwork for each Arcadia home—a deeply personal tribute to the spirit of each city. With travel at the heart of much of her work, Coco brings an intimate perspective to Arcadia, transforming each home into a canvas for artistic expression.

This collaboration marks a new chapter for August—where design, culture, and artistry come together to create homes as inspiring as the destinations themselves.

Coco Capitán is a Spanish-born, London-based artist whose work spans multiple disciplines, from painting and photography to writing and design. Having collaborated with renowned brands such as Gucci, Burberry, Polaroid, and Belmond, she is drawn to creating, questioning, and storytelling—whether through imagery, words, or exhibitions. Travel is a constant source of inspiration, shaping her perspective and allowing her to capture the essence of diverse cultures and environments. It is this deep connection to place that makes Coco the perfect choice for August’s first artist collaboration.
I want my pieces to feel at home in the August environment, bringing a sense of spontaneity and refinement that blends seamlessly with the textures, light, and atmosphere of each space.

The spaces that feature Coco’s artwork will ooze with the spirit of an artist’s life—effortlessly luxurious, deeply personal, and full of creative energy. Imagine these homes as places where art isn’t just decoration but an extension of the space itself. Coco’s signature handwriting will be central to each composition, layering words and imagery in response to the textures, stories, and histories of the five cities. The goal is to craft pieces that feel deeply connected to their surroundings—artworks that exist between classicism and modernity, intention and spontaneity.
