Island way of life and the influences of Mallorca

Slow travel is important to us, so take it in the Mediterranean way. Once you've arrived in Mallorca, be sure to take the time to appreciate your surroundings and everything the island has to offer. From the sweet scent of the oranges on the trees wafting through the breeze to the warmth of the Mediterranean sun softly beaming on your face, and you'll find your senses will come alive.

At August, we're so passionate about delivering the best homes in the most sophisticated locations. We look for authentic properties with a sweet charm but most importantly in the right location, surrounded by the outdoors, easy access to neighbouring villages, and crystal clear beaches.

The City Collection Mallorca home offers plenty of space to house 4-6 guests, and whether that's your family or friends, there's enough space for everyone, the home will have up to two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Throughout the building, you'll have a range of living spaces, giving you options to rest and relax, but on the roof, you'll find a sun-soaked terrace, complimented with an outdoor kitchen, perfect for those Alfresco meals. The home will be situated amongst surrounding views of the hills and rooftops of the nearby houses and a distance view of the Mediterranean sea.

Have a look around and take the history in...

When exploring the island, you will come across many different eras of history. Still, the most famous traditional Mallorcan feature is the island's "pueblos," which feature stone facades that cover the village homes. Typical Mallorca stones that are used for these features are Marés and Binissalem. The idyllic villages of Deia, Fornalutx and Soller have most of this design, which encompasses the town walls from building to building and is surrounded by a valley of hills.

We make every effort to preserve the traditional character of the August homes, and the architecture of the townhouse is important to us. We look at the typical townhouse structure that embodies the classic Mallorcan "Finca," you'll find traditional vaulted ceilings, original exposed wooden beams, and typical Mallorcan tiled and stoned floors. We are mindful of where the interiors in our homes are sourced. We are committed to working with and connecting with local suppliers to provide the utmost comfort, combined with regional influences that make you feel at home.

A convenient little island...

In terms of convenience and variety of activities, the villages of Soller, Puigpunyent, Deia, Fornalux and Valldemossa are among our favourites. These inland towns in the mountains north-west of the island offer the best of both worlds: a gentle incline where you can roam around the villages and get lost in history. The home will be situated less than 30 minutes from the airport and is ideally located to explore the island in detail. The valleys and surrounding mountains, known as "The Tramuntana Sierra," are popular among those from all over the world who enjoy cycling and hiking in nature.
